The money has been combined with that raised by the Digital Angel event and will be donated directly to the Red Cross by Surreal Babii within the week. Victorian Bushfire Relief - Participating Vendors

The response from the Second Life community to the tragic circumstances in Victoria, Australia has been phenomenal. I can't express enough how humble and grateful the generosity of our international community makes me feel.

A lot of people have been asking for a list of content creators with items up for sale to benefit the cause. Here is the list as I have it so far (with SLurls - hurrah). I will be adding to this list daily, we've only been collecting for about 36hours so it amazes - and again, humbles - me that the list of participants is already so large. The Future of Savvy?

As I announced earlier in the year I will no longer be releasing new items for Savvy?. It's been tricky working out what to do with the mainstore location in Imogen which I share with La Sylphide and Fuse. In 2007 I'd been talking about doing an diffusion accessories label with a RL friend and branding it Whippet&Buck. The plan was for W&B to be a mini-store within Savvy? and to only be accessories, at the time Twiggy Whippet was spending a lot of time in photoshop for her RL job and was more interested in doing something a bit different. There have been changes in employment for both Twiggy and I this year and several months ago we started to talk about her getting more involved in clothing production for Second Life™.

I recently discounted all Savvy? items by 50% at the store's Imogen and Retrology locations. That sale will continue until Twiggy is ready to take over the space, at that point all Savvy? products will be removed from Imogen. For the time being the old items will be available at Retrology and Caribe for discounted prices with the exception of select pieces. These will be repackaged for Whippet&Buck but will be my only direct contributions to the brand.

I have an interest in fashion and fashion illustration in my first life so I will still have creative input with the new brand but due to other commitments none of the new products will be created by me. I hope to eventually find the courage to post some of my sketches on the new blog. Of Deer & Dogs will be maintained by both Twiggy and me and will probably include rants and first life miscellany along with product updates and SL™ related commentary.

Thank you all for the amazing support I've received since March 2007, I'm still amazed and grateful that my products are still worn and blogged almost a full year on from my last release under the Savvy? label.

I know that I haven't made any announcements for a while and I'm sorry for this. I do have a couple of exciting announcements today to do with where I have been and the future of Savvy?

1) As soon as I have some spare time (I'm back to full-time study) I'll be opening a new mainstore on the Imogen sim. I've invited Mr Jonathan Hugo to share the land with me for the development of his new mainstore. If you like Savvy? then you'll more than likely love Fuse. I'm very excited about this partnership which has come about for two main reasons: a) I love his work and b) after the release of some things I've been hoarding since last year and a freebie tennis dress there will be NO MORE NEW RELEASES FROM SAVVY?. This is because:

2) I'm so very proud to announce that I will now be designing under the name Lindsay Armidi. I have recently accepted the offer to become part of the Armidi design team and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's an honour to be working with not only the original Armidi design duo but also the other new designers who have, like me, joined the team. Great and innovative things (see for example ShopArmidi) are being developed by this brand and I'm excited to not only witness this but to be a part of it. I hope that my current customer base will share in my excitement for current and future projects with Armidi and that the current fans of this brand will find beauty and enjoyment in what I create as Lindsay Armidi.

The Eve of Destruction set is the perfect Autumn ensemble. The goldish shirt utilizes the glove layer to lengthen the sleeves over the hands while the sleeves of the cropped pig-leather jacket finish at the elbow. The grey pencil skirt is shot with fine gold lines and finishes at the knee to reveal heavy denier tights.

Cup Day is my nod to the upcoming Melbourne Cup Carnival, in Australia the first Tuesday in November means the horse-racing event of the year... and of course with horse-racing comes fashion. This set is very equestrian influenced and includes a silky knee-length skirt with a dressage-inspired bow at the back, a goldish-grey blouse with tiny pearl buttons and black riding gloves with gold zippers.

On a suggestion from Saeya Nyanda I'm also releasing the Cup Day riding gloves in several colours as separates (or a discounted fatpack). All six colours are fit snuggly with a gold zipper.

This skirt gets its name from the language of the Arrernte people, indigenous to central Australia. Merne Awele-Awele is the name for the bush-tucker known as the Bush Tomato in English. I love Bush Tomato chutney and the dusty red, yellow and green of this crinkled knee-length skirt were making me hungry. The waist-band of the skirt is decorated with two red buttons.

This release has been delayed a couple of days because I was without internet (it was HELL).

This week Savvy? adds two new outfits to the Feel Rich line.
The tops from Ghosts Are and its twin Good Company are semi-sheer with opaque satin inlays. The Good Company set is completed by high-waisted pants while Ghosts Are has a knee-length pencil skirt and simple prim-belt.

This nautical-inspired skirt has a definite retro feel. I made the skirt in red and blue to continue the nautical theme and they are sold together for 120L.

New Releases at Savvy?

In celebration of Hallowe'en (as Iris Ophelia says, the fashionista holiday) I'm giving an exclusive themed gift to my update group, Savvy? The outfit is called Concubine Trash and is quite a change of pace for Savvy? - the set includes a red and black stripped bustier, black high-waisted hotpants and torn stockings.

The Janine is my first attempt at a full-length gown. It's elegant and slinky, fastening with ribbons at the small of the back to leave most of the back bare. The dress is available in 5 separate colours (or as a discounted fatpack).

Lastly the Angry Leggings (because they were going to be called Cross Leggings, get it? I know, shutting up now). The solid fabric of these leggings ends at the knee and the laces wrap down around the calves to tie off at the ankle. Available in 7 spotted fabrics (or a discounted fatpack).

OMG I made a lot of stuff!

Another new Savvy? series - "Feel Rich" - is born. This collection uses classy blacks, goldish-greys and eventually a set of white and red accessories.

Quarter to Three is inspired by the festival-wear seen at Woodford Folk Festival with a very upmarket twist. The heavier fabric with breezy full skirt make it perfect for transitional seasons. The bust is cut to suggest a plunging neckline without actually tarting out.

Savvy?'s take on the LBD - Little Black Ache - is slinky and elegant while bringing the sexy with liberal amounts of side-boob and bare shoulder blades.

Charm School was made for men but turned out to be rather unisex and maybe a little to feminine in the cut of the waistcoat. The multi-layered set includes pleated pants with skinny belt, smartly tailored waistcoat over a diagonally striped tee with a collar and elbow-length sleeved dress-shirt peeking out. A thin ribbon is tied at the throat.

The above three outfits were named for Bishop Allen songs, go check them out if you like indie pop.

I made Dear Stephanie as a birthday gift for my partner Stephanie Misfit, but she has agreed to let you have it to, hehe. This is the first Savvy? outfit to use sculpties. The collar of the long undershirt is high and a short waistcoat sits over the top. The set is finished off with knee-shorts and opaque stockings.

Savvy?Trinkets
Some people may already know that I'm not totally crash hot with prim-work but I have made my very first prim jewelry.

The Repairs Necklace is an antique chain (gold or silver) with a large hand-drawn stone (onyx, amber or lapis lazuli) pendant that hangs low between the breasts. This piece is a bit in the wars so it's been mended with a piece of thin black ribbon where the chain has broken.

The Asymmetric!

The Asymmetric has been longer than it should have needed in production... but I've been a bit sick :/ But never mind, it's here now and the set includes a prim-skirt (no I haven't stopped making system skirts I just needed a different shape for this one), a demure beige blouse with rouching and a sweet little ribbon bow at the neck, sand-coloured faux-tights and an asymmetrical cardigan. As usual all available layers are included.

I had intended to release some fitted tees in several colours but... I don't want to charge you for them so - FREE GIFT. The tops are boxed up and sitting on a little table in the middle of my mainstore. Enjoy<3

Updated Shorts and a Frock

New to Savvy?'s separates line is a remake of the Colleen Bib-Shorts. The shorts include prim legs to avoid the horrid clingy look that is just not classy. Available in 6 muted colours for 100L each or a fatpack for 500L.

The Iris Dress was inspired by a picture sent to me by Iris Ophelia. It ended up being a lot like a little girl's party-frock, found in a box in the attic – slightly tattered around the hem but otherwise in good nick. 175L.

Because I'm on a 64kbps connection these are currently only up at my mainstore location.

Thank-you to everyone who commented last week, it was great to get such an enthusiastic response. I'm still putting a lot of thought into the pricing issue but it was very useful to hear some other opinions, particularly from people who are shoppers rather than just friends (who tend to over-sell me).

Also, this blog will be moving to wordpress soon so stay tuned for that.

Savvy? is very excited to bring you a new line of separates for the ladies. This release includes two different tops in 8 versatile colours each. Each top is provided on all 3 layers making them extremely easy to integrate into any outfit.

The Poppin' It Top is a revamped version of the first top I ever made (the Popinjay Press Stud Top), like it's predecessor it is simple and understated from the front but clothes with an asymmetrical line of press-studs down the back. Colours can be bought separately for 75L each or all 8 for 500L.

Pricing and Selling
I spend a lot of time thinking about the price of my items. I like to hope my prices are reasonable and I've only been told once that my prices are too high (all my other friends yell at me when I talk about dropping them down). I have however been told that my takings aren't what they should be so... what am I doing wrong? Is it the pricing or something else in style or quality? I know that I'm still a Photoshop noob but I am trying to improve my quality with every release but I guess for now I will continue to provide the best quality items that I can. But to the shoppers of SL, what would you like to have me do to make my product more buyable for you?

Thank-you to everyone who entered the Savvy? Queen Bees competition. A winner has been drawn with the help of my glamorous barrel girl (read: Miles, my housemate), so congratulations to Carissa Crimson who will receive every Savvy? release for the rest of 2007.

Savvy? introduces a new line of business-wear - MEAN BUSINESS.

This release is the third in the Mean Business. Courtney includes a rouched bustier, cropped pants, school-boy style knee-socks and a jacket cinched with a gold clasp. This set is entirely hand drawn, including the clasp which, by itself, took several hours to complete.

This is my very first attempt at menswear... I can't honestly say that I am completely happy with Robin. I can, at least, be proud of myself for putting an awful lot of work into it. This set comes in the same colours as Robyn and these are set for 150L each or 500L for the fatpack.

I am a very, very lazy blogger. This is kind of surprising as in my first life I'm in the middle of my Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Creative Writing Production. I find that by the time I've birthed a new item I'm tired and just can't find the words or the concentration to write about it. It's not just 'Kota's Knickers either, I write for Fashion Victim and at the moment I have a small collection of review copies staring accusingly at me from my inventory. I will get to them, it just takes me a while. Honestly, Stephanie deserves review copies much more than I do - and if you're looking to be blogged fairly quickly send her your stuff. Plus she's a much nicer person than I am and her avatar is better looking - win win!

You Made my Day:
One of the two people who made my day today was Gillian Waldman, who wrote a very kind piece about Savvy? in her blog Deux Looks and made it a lot easier for me to get on with my day this morning.

Maya is my take on the “Summer frock”, without the skirt it can be worn as a one-piece swim-suit (because they're much classier than a bikini). The floaty blue material of the dress is gathered at the waist by a snow-flake pattered sash. The sash is my little nod to the fact that although we're all making Summer fashions, it's Winter where I live... and well... Second Life doesn't really have a need for seasons. Commentary aside, Maya is a very versatile dress, wear it bare-foot at the beach or dress it up with coloured tights for the perfect party frock. 200L.

Edit: I AM A RAGING 'TARD. I keep putting Southern Hemisphere when I mean Northern. I know it's not Summer in the South, I know this because I'm Australian and shivering... WHY WILL YOU NOT WORK? DAMN BRAIN!Savvy? knows that it's Summer in the northern hemisphere so here's some apparel for the warmer months. Think wading in the rock-pools at the beach or picnicking by the lake – this is how classy ladies bare their legs. The outfit is called “Down By” and includes a pair of dark-coloured shorts with prim-cuffs and an anchor motif on the back pocket and a vertically-striped blouse with sweet little button details and my dearly beloved sailor-style collar. Urgh, there seems to be a "ghost prim" blocking the doorway to my mainstore in the Promenade. It can't be selected or seen but it also can't be walked through. Sit on objects to get in and out of the store... or just shop from the doorway ;)

The newest release at Savvy? has a delicate vintage feel. The dress is a long vertically-striped corset and a soft, striped skirt. The corset closes down the front with small hooks and eyes and has a sailor-style bib collar. By popular demand I have compromised my creative vision and produced the dress in 4 colours. Each colour is 150L with a fatpack of all 4 for 500L.

A fifth (pink) dress will be given as a group only freebie to those in the Savvy? Group.

New Classy Broad and New Location :D

Savvy? Presents the Classy Broad Collection – inspired by women of poise and sophistication.
For the third in the Classy Broad Collection, Savvy? presents Haver – she's hot-balls-of-fire style classy. Haver has the universal poise to pull off absolutely any look in any situation. This playful over-achiever proves that a woman with class can be anything she wants. Haver is a black high-waisted pencil skirt with wide suspenders attached with fabric-covered buttons. For underneath there are two fitted-tees (one purple and one grey) with low backs for extra classiness or a soft grey bandeau top with lace-detailing. Also included are a pair of black capris with the same fabric-covered button as the suspenders.

All pieces are included on all available layers, however to make it easier to sort all the pieces out the additional layers have been packaged up into a box.

Jodhpurs are so awesome that after slipping into the pair from the Last Call Hunt Club: Jumper outfit I went out and bought myself a 2000L horse to accessorise them with... and so a touch of pony madness pushes it's velvety nose into Imogen.There's Haver and I, with Horatio and Cherrehbom.I continued my jodhpur obsession by heading over to the Double H Ranch... it was kind of disturbing there to be honest... all the furry-porn hanging in the apartments (correction: stables). But I got a shot of my cute outfit in front of the much safer looking Vet's office before the green dot that my mystitool informed me was "Slavegirl Paine" got within chat range of me.

Honestly, my IMs aren't capped as often as I let on. Sometimes I just don't want to reply. I'm also prone to faking crashes to get out of conversations or situations I'm not comfortable with. I do enjoy talking to people and I love you all dearly but sometimes it's the only way I can take a break from the computer... also sometimes I genuinely do crash.
First Life
It has been over two months since anyone has hugged me and for a very hands-on person like myself this feels so strange. There was a time in my early teens when different strangers would touch me several times a week.

Those readers who speak to me on a daily basis may have noticed that I've suddenly gone missing. I'm writing this now at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon (7pm Monday SLT) but I have no idea when I will be able to post it as I am currently without an Internet connection. It would seem that when the household bills were transferred into my name, because the person who was previously in charge of them was moving out, there were still debits on the cable Internet connection. Our ISP - OPTUS - kindly put the account back into his name without telling us and cut off my Internet connection. The account going back into his name meant that, after two attempts and a total of four hours on hold, I was informed by the tech-support operator in Bombay that he could not tell me why I could not connect to the Internet because I was not the authorised account holder and it would be at least 14 working days before the account could be changed over (again) and after that time they would tell me where my Internet had gone. So I called up my ex-housemate and he said he would call them that night when he had the time to sit on hold. He did this and that was when I found out it had been cut due to an unpaid bill (or rather several). According to the ex-housemate the bill has now been paid and the receipt number given to OPTUS who said it would be reconnected in 15-30mins... that was at about midnight last night. It still wasn't on this morning so I SMSed my ex-housemate to let him know - mainly because I can't put the money he paid for the bill in his account until I get the Internet back. He called OPTUS again and they said they'd reconnect it (again). That was a few hours ago. So basically I have no idea when I will get to post this, so I guess as I write it's still unknown... OMG! It's back! Yay!

So, on other things. I have another set up - Concrete Park. There's no nudity so I'm sure it won't go as well as it might, but I like it. I have more sets planned, including with every one's favourite model - Satine Dot.

I've lost track of what else I wanted to say, see you in world. x.

EDIT: Eeps, it took me ages to realise that I'd made a spelling mistake. It wasn't until I was staring idly at the third image (I'm using it as my desktop) that I actually realised. The images are fixed but I can't be bothered replacing these ones. The correct spelling is available on the textures in game.

I'm not usually this happy with my work. But this is good. I don't know where it came from but I was at the marina in this beautiful Nylon Outfitters dress and Old Gravy's as yet unreleased hair "Hiding Hore" and this set just happened. To me, it is beautiful.

On a side note my current love is Earthtones Boutique. The jewellery there is seriously rad and similar to the kind of stuff I wear in RL. If, like me, you hate "bling" and tacky costume jewellery then you must rush to this store and buy everything there. The designer was in the store when I arrived. This stuff is made by a particularly cute boy - need I say more?

High Time for an Update

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well I've been a combination of uber busy and away from home (and my high-speed internet) but fret not, I'm back in action.
I'm not sure if I've blogged it but most of you will know that December and I parted ways right before Buckie's grand opening. My single days did not, however, last long as I now have a new man in my life. Ephraim Massiel, cliques that hurt my credibility as a writer seem to be hard to avoid. He's lovely. I am happy. He's also totally ace at Photoshop so expect some collaborations from us soon.
I'm a little irritated at the moment - and not just because the grid is down. Attempting to read issue #6 of Second Style Magazine I began to get the feeling that maybe there is room for another SL mag. I found the graphic design somewhat lacking and each to their own, but I find that I just can't get into Celebrity's writing. My friends are such talented and creative people that you never know, a new SL publication may be on the horizon.

Buckie - Back To Nature

So today was a sad day with the news of our beloved Old Gravy team going on hiatus. I don't know what I will do with myself without new hair from Satine and simply not having Sat and Malkov around will feel strange. I think you're both the awesome.

I worked my first SL bachelor party today with Alla and Cassy. I be pimpin' da hottest biatches in the Sizzle Lizzle. We got to name-drop Buckie's a fair bit so that should get some good word-of-mouth advertising going. In other Buckie's news if you know anyone who is looking for employment have them drop me an IM and I'll hook them up with an application form. And finally, I dragged one of my management team (the one that isn't Allalalala), Castalia, into /artillleri/ and then to Old Gravy yesterday and she loved it. I'm so proud of my little Cassy.
And now on to the part of this update that relates to the title. I did a little shoot to relax yesterday and I'm super pleased with how it turned out. None of these shots have been cropped - a fact, of which I'm very proud. The only problem I have is I got a bit lazy with the lighting in some of these, but overall - yaysers lasers. WARNING: Some of the shots show pixel boobies. Oh no! Geek porn!

I've changed my template to something more exciting - yay. Let me know if you think it's spiff enough.

A name has been chosen - "Buckie's House of Hooch". It's all getting very exciting now (like I wasn't already excited enough), the build looks great. Mallie is a super ace builder and the club is set to be the awesome. To see some pics of the semi-textured interior head over to Satine's Blog.

I had a fairly fun day today due to a shopping expedition with Alla that included an improptu car-ride. Never, ever get into a car with that crazy girl - she drives like a woman possessed. There were several deliberate hit and runs, those poor n00bs, they didn't stand a chance. The mad bint even admitted that the purpose of the car ride was to end my life. Alla is such a good friend, I luff her.

Lastly, expect to see me in a bikini for at least the next week while I enjoy Antie's (of /artilleri/ fame) latest and too long coming inky offering.
I live in such a lovely sim, this is just one of the many beautiful areas around my house.

Dah-Dum Big News!

OK, so some of you may know that I've been mostly out of game recently due to computer problems. Others may be aware that my place of primary employment, Club Coitus, has closed down. So I've been jobless, but guess what? All is not lost! A new club is born! I don't want to say too much just yet but it's set to be a rockabilly hangout that just happens to have strippers.
To better explain here is an excerpt from Alla's blog:

...not only did this woman pleasure herself at my expense, but she has also given me a reason to anticipate something good in my state of post-coitus (HAHAHHAA!) Just when I thought SL was beginning to bore me a bit...After all, I own literally every decent article of clothing and am still quite the pacifier-sucker with photoshop to be a content creator. So there she was, telling me her ideas for what is potentially to be the best and most time-worthy club on the grid...with the best DJ I might add *winks*. I'm a supercharged, out-of-orbit excited electron right now but I shan't reveal details, especially since they aren't formed yet, but I will say this: I want to build giant barbell hoops and use the balls as lights, make chairs in the shapes of shoes and Cadillacs that sit on black & white checkerboard floors, and a stage of dancing vixens surrounded by fire...or maybe a giant pink boa. Oooh, eight-balls for tip jars and dice-shaped 'Sploders, pink flamingos and a wall devoted to Betty in her red devil costume....maybe an avie version? either way. And there I go rambling again...just some thoughts for 'Kota :) The excitement is uncontainable.

Life In Pictures

Today's post is fairly picture heavy, starting off with some high-lights from the shoot I did with Alla the other day. I had originally thought it would just be a shoot of her... But well I ended up in the shots but they're cute so what-ev:

This was taken at the formal event at Club Coitus. The first event in the weekend long celebrations for the reopening. This is me and my boss/good friend Evo. He's the DJ Manager at Club Coitus.

A new fetish is discovered! Yes, the truth comes out: Satine and Malkov like to burry themselves in dirt and make-out. Hot.
Last but not least here is Satine and myself sitting like dirty dirty hoes. Yet somehow she comes away looking cute while I look like a crack whore.

Malkov

It has been brought to my attention that I didn't mention Malkov at all in my last post. Which was quite an oversight considering the fact that I haven't take the duck derby he made off since I got it. I'm not sure if I've made it quite clear enough how awesome both the hat and Malkov are. I felt the need to illustrate this with a series of unrelated pics from the past couple of days. As you can see I am wearing a dead duck on my head in all of them.

I think this is really a great example of the awesomeness of this hat. Malkov has managed to design this item so cleverly that it allowed me to approach this parrot to the point where I ended up on the perch with the other bird. I don't know what's in this hat, magic maybe, but I was the yay being surrounded by birds. I'm a really bird person, I've had budgerigars for as long as I can remember. My current baby is Hamish Wallace Hughes. Yeah, he's ended up with my ex's last name. I hope I always have budgies, but I'm also kind of planning to be an old lady with a pair of whippets. Whippet's are great dogs, I miss my darling Peggy (she still lives at my mum's house). I will have a male and a female and the lady whippet will be called Twiggy after my favourite model and the male will be Devo (if you don't get it you are better off).And here's me with Angelique , the duck derby still. How cool does it look from the side?! For those playing at home my t-shirt says UNICORN POWER because I am very hip. I have very little to say about this shot. I'd just finished my DJ shift, Meso had just started his and the "Bikini Bod" event was just kicking off. You can't see the hat too well but it's there and still being awesome, and sure the pic is poorly framed and unrezzed but there are two bare-assed DJs in the one picture. Enough said.And of course, in this picture you can quite clearly see this brilliant creation of Malkov's. I should point out that the sleeveless jeans jacket is also by Malkov. I would not look anywhere near as awesome if it weren't for Malkov. Go to Old Gravy, bitches.

It’s been a while since this blog was updated but the voices* have told me that it must be active once more. Basically if I’m going to have a regular reader I might as well update – makes sense, yes? The new updates are probably going to include more about the person December refers to as my “pet human” because really, it’s silly to try to separate Weddy from ‘Kota.

Quite a lot has happened to me since I last used this blog. There is now a fan group** devoted to all things Dakota-ish. So they’re mostly not so much “fans” as friends who are willing to humour me but at least it allows me to wear the nifty title “Cool and Stretchy” (more about this later). The group includes Angelique (‘Kota’s Pimpette) and Lelou (Cool and Flexy), if you’re in the group and feel that you should have a unique title (not happy with the snappy ‘Kota Moans For title) IM me, you stupid gash.

If you’re so out of touch with what’s happening in my second life that you only know what is in this blog you will be thinking what does a stripper need with a fan-group? Well I’m a DJ now. Still at Club Coitus (which over the past week seems to have died a little more) but not doing so much dancing anymore – which is the yay. I’m also trying to do a lot more photography.

I’m doing more modelling! And not boring furniture this time (OK so the bondage furniture probably wasn’t that boring) actual wearables. I’m not certain why I’m blogging this fact as my only reader knows exactly what I’m modelling. But thanks for hiring me, Satine, love your work. Just in case there are any readers who aren’t the owner of Old Gravy you must go there now or I will eat your soul. I’m sorry but it doesn’t need an explanation or critique just go to the freaking store and buy everything there.

At this point I'd like to say just how well made of awesome Alla is. She's the one who told me about Old Gravy and not only that she's super hottness and can put up with my crazy location jumping while I'm shooting.Well I guess this bears mention, I’m partnered. December Frontenac is the awesome and partnering him meant that I was maliciously gossiped about – how cool. The story goes that I was there for December’s first DJ show in Club Coitus. So I was there to watch Headcase*** throw herself at him and make it very clear to all the other women in the room to back the fuck off. I think to myself “sad, desperate old tart” and move on. A few days later I get a message in the Club Coitus employee channel that Headcase and December are engaged. So I join their wedding update group and continue to giggle as Headcase announces the wedding is in two weeks (obviously a fact that she hadn’t yet run past December who freaks out a little). I sweetly enquire how long they have been planning this, a couple of days it turns out. My reply being: “Oh! Here was I thinking I had been out of the loop for months!” A few days after that I get ejected from the wedding group because it’s been disbanded. The marriage is off.I then get a message from December because the Club Coitus DJ manager has told him I’m having trouble getting my mic to work with SAM3. December offers to give me live help and tells me to come over to his house and use his stream to test it. Basically not only does he fix it but we also click crazily well on voice chat and he ends up DJ a private show for me and we swap some music. Over the next few days we talk a lot on voice and learn how awesome we both are. So December sends me a partner invitation and I accept. We figure it will be fun to see if anyone notices. Headcase notices, and bitches. The outcome was positive – Club Coitus admitting that Dec and I are more valuable employees than Headcase. Headcase got a thorough telling off.

December has quit work at Club Coitus and now works for Heavenly Rose Nightclub. If anyone connected with HR management ever reads this – DO NOT TELL DECEMBER HOW TO DO HIS JOB, IT WILL ONLY END BADLY.

Glowing With Pride

Today my first ever trainee made her dancing debut at Club Coitus. I was lucky enough to be online at the time so I could see her performance. I'm so proud of Alianna, she's such a sweetie and I'm so glad she's got her badge and is working now. Later I'll be hitting the town with her to party our little hearts out. But today’s work was indeed a joy, sandwiched between dear Alianna and the gorgeous Elaine. That girl is a sweetie and has come so far since I first met her during her training. (She even has a cute story about watching me dancing while she was a trainee.) The picture of Elaine and I comes very close to showing my boobies.

Sublime Restaurant in Andraca is a beautifully designed place, I headed over there today to check the place out for future reference. It's a sweet idea, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to appeal to the masses - the place was dead when I showed up. Spread the word and everyone go and check the fantastic little place out. When I arrived there was only one other person in the entire place, a man who had arrived at the same time as me with the same reason. We toured around the site together and got to talking. Dylan seems like a really nice guy and eventually he asked me to dine with him. After the dinner we danced, right there in the restaurant, which incidentally has lovely music. Horray for random meetings.

This Is Her Blog

The norm in first blog entries is to give some general introduction, intrests, occupations maybe; who am I to buck the trend? I'm a dancer for the adult entertainment company - Club Coitus at Saint Barts. I also dabble in photography, snapping shots of myself and my colleegs and I've done a little bit of modelling - for furniture made by friends. When it all comes down to it, my love is fashion. It makes me sad how so many of the women I meet dress so generically - and so skankily - when there is such a fantastic range of well-designed and stylish apparel available. Many of my colleegs dress as if they were onstage 24/7 and that just isn't me.

I got new underwear today, from Digital Knickers. I love panties and I'm very in love with my new set. They look great with the Oi! boots from Beckenbauer Productions, in my opinion at least. I did get some funny looks when I tramped onstage in the clunky boots instead of the standard stripper stilleto but in this industry no ones looking at your feet for long. (Almost no one but more about him another time.)
